How to Harvest a Happy Fall

Posted by Pip Berry Barn on 10/4/2014
Ah, it’s that time of year again! Autumn is extra-special here at Pip Berry Barn because it ushers in the season of Fall wreaths, garlands, swags and so much more. To make it even more special, take advantage of our sale items which include many Fall items!

You may know that we are nestled in the Chain O’Lakes region in Illinois, smack in the Midwestern United States, which means we’re enjoying the fiery and exciting changes in foliage colors which always herald the rush of the holiday season.  Part of the pull of fall is to get out there and find new and interesting ways to decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Wreaths, specifically, have transitioned from a winter-only select holiday decoration to a year round expression of hospitality and welcoming. Did you know that not only do we carry a lovely line of traditional 10-14 and 16-20 inch wreaths, but we also have specialized wreaths like our Pumpkin Trio? The burnished fall colors of the fabric leaves and mixed berries can take you from Halloween straight through Thanksgiving and is unusual enough to invite compliments year-round.

From our Primitive Plate and Bowl collection, you can find the Happy Fall wooden plate, an adorable plate to hang as a pop of pumpkin color in your home or business. While your browsing, check out our Wooden Folk Star Berry Bowl.

As fall moves into winter, you can transition into one of our snowman themed plates or ovals, and rather than hang the expected evergreen or holly wreath on your front door, perhaps embrace a wreath that matches your personal holiday style. For those who prefer the frosty blues and whites of winter (or Hanukkah- time), our French Blue Mixed Berry Wreath is just the ticket.

We do love fall here at the Pip Berry Barn, and we hope to help you love it a little more too!
